Background
Jessica is a native of Southern California. After graduating
with honors from the University of California, San Diego,
Jessica began her legal education at Southwestern University
School of Law. While studying law at Southwestern University,
Jessica was an intern with a Los Angeles Superior Court judge
where she researched and drafted recommended tentative rulings.
Once Jessica became an attorney, she immediately began her
litigation career and represented clients involved in disputes
over contracts, business and corporations, intellectual property
rights, family law disputes, real estate, and employment law.
Before opening The Helliwell Law Firm, Jessica worked for law
firms both in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
In 2006, Jessica obtained her
Real Estate Brokers License and is the founder and owner of
Esquire Real Estate Group. Jessica continues to assist clients
in purchasing and selling of their homes, and disputes that
arise in real estate transactions.
Jessica
continually strives to balance both a healthy and competitive
lifestyle with her legal career. Jessica's competitive nature
started at age 8 when she first began swimming competitively.
She continued to compete in swimming for the next 12 years and
is now a member of the Mission Viejo Nadadores Masters Swim Team.
Jessica continued her competitive edge running the Los Angeles
Marathon twice, cycling the Rosarito Bike Race, and ascending Mt. Whitney -- highest summit in the continental United States -- to the top.
